John Mayer Trio

In a word, WOW! Steve Jordan, Pino Palladino and John Mayer. If you dig any one of these three guys get yourself a ticket(if they are not already sold out). I don't think you will be let down. Jordan killed it on "Cissy Strut". Also, a cool version of Hendrix "Wait Until Tomorrow".

Wow - I'm a JM fan and would love to see that trio. Do you know if he's coming to the UK?

I don't know if anyone has got them playing "Daughters" at The Grammies, but it was killing.

Pino rocks and I've got him on a live D'Angelo concert, I think he's the only whit guy on stage! .....not bad for a Welshman!!

Man. I have outmost respect for John Mayer!

He kinda reminds me of the Early Sting Era, Mayer can do that he wants and have the Record Company's Support.

When he was in Copenhagen and was scheduled to warm up for Sting, The show got cancelled due to Sting's illness. Mayer didn't went back home to his Hotel, he took out to one of the local Jazz Jam-sessions at L'Fontaine and Jammed to the Early morning. [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]

Yo Chooch,
Saw them at the Anaheim H.O.B.. The place was completely sold out way in advance. I knew the tech on the gig and he was gracious enough to get me in. Jordan was impeccable! To paraphrase Vinnie,"The air was pregnant with groove". The other touring drummer is JJ Johnson who is great also. He did some work with Doyle Bramhall. He is a Jordan fan too which is evident in his playing style, sound and approach.

I love JORDAN!!!! I love Mayer too, what a great combination... Got the Grammy performance on in the background as I watch this... WOW...

I've been listening a lot to Room For Squares lately, and the drumming on that is wonderful. Anyone know who else Nir Z has done stuff for???
